From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Dear Sir/Madam; I am appalled to hear that there is a policy paper out which propposes taxing certain talk/news organizations and contains punitive measures for free speech. This dangerously curtails our consitutional freedom and smacks of Communist tactics from decades ago. We need the freedom to disagree with government or religious views without fear of fines, imprisonment or other reprisal. Marketplacke dialogue keeps this country creative and moving forward. This censoring approach to journalism is totally unacceptable in our free country.
