From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I say NO to any type of government bailout for any journalism program..... Journalist have been their on worse enemy...they have tried to promote their on views, instead of just reporting what is happening....If we hear or see a direct broadcast of something while it is actually happening...they want to make sure that we view it though their eyes..so they spend the next 3 or 4 hours cramming our mines with their views...as if we are not smart enough to think for ourselves..the American People are sick of this so CALLED NEWS.. they do not buy the newspapers and they turn off the propaganda.. the new reports are giving the journalist views not just what is happening....we are tired of Tokyo Rose and her so call news... Report what is happening and stop giving your interpretation of what is going on....and we will buy your papers and tune in to your broadcast...we demand the news not your views.....we demand free speech...if the left is to speak...then the right must speak also..we have the right to chose which side we want to stand on...not to be told how we are to think....This is America not Iran...if you do not like free speech then go to a country that does not have it ..you do not deserve our tax money...do your job right and it will flourish as it did in years gone by...Government keep out of it...we stand for freedom of speech..also you must report the good as well as the bad... We demand the freedom that our forefathers, fathers, sons and daughters have shade their blood for...I have 8 direct (my 5th or 6th great) great grandfathers that fought in the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783)...I demand what they were willing to die for...
