From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
To whom it may concern, I would like to express my disagreement with your proposed regulations. Journalism today seems to be a tool for bias information and we the public have to turn to the internet for news that are not altered by the degrading or bolster comments from the news media. This is the reason why journalism is in trouble, not because of the internet. If newspapers focus in reporting the news and all the news, rather than focusing in altering people opinions then the newspapers would still be my choice to read the news. I rather read the newspaper than the internet as I spend most of my day on the computer. I urge you to not inpose a tax to bolster those news organizations that are failing due to people not trusting them any more. I do not want my tax dollars for this purpose!
