From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Journalism can survive only by getting back to the core of what journalism should be: reporting the facts without bias of personal opinion! Obviously, the journalism of today's papers, reporters and other publications are in trouble because of the tainted, slanted articles that are printed and reported on left wing news stations. I watch all of the stations but I am amazed at the lack of reporting by the some of the media. Advertisers advertise to reach numbers. Viewers follow the "popular" media by their choices of content! Concerned citizens, like myself, listen to all to glean the true story and not someone's biased opinion. I am replused by some of the liberal voices, but I have a choice to change the channel or not read that publication. I can make up my own mind with the reported facts! We do not need to reinvent the journalist or journalism! This fairness doctrine is just another taxation tactic to affect censorship of conservative speech. Focus on something really important. Free speech in the United States of America is ENGLISH only!!!!! IT IS THE LANGUAGE OF OUR COUNTRY!
