From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The proposals contained in “Reinvention of Journalism” are unamerican and an insidious attempt to bailout a failed profession. I no longer depend on "mainstream" media" for unbiased reporting of events occurring in the world. The majority of journalists today have become nothing but propaganda generators for the progressive/secular movement that seeks to drastically change our way of life. If traditional journalism cannot compete, it should be allowed to fail on its own merits - not be supported by taxpayer money. Using that logic, we would still have Yugo dealerships and salesmen in operation supported by taxes on their competitors products. If they want to be saved, they must do it by meeting the needs of their customers. If that is done, the "problem" will be solved.
