From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The best approach for the government on the future of journalism is HANDS OFF!! Journalism has survived the transition from town criers, to print, to radio, to television, and to the internet and beyond. Free speech has been and should continue to be an integral part of American culture and politics. Trying to regulate it, tax it or manipulate it from one view point to another makes it no longer free and no longer journalism. It would cost and it would be propaganda. In short, LET FREEDOM RING!!
