I am opposed to ANY form of restrictions on free speech. Your proposals do just that. Any taxation is a form of restriction too. I am opposed to any plan to "bail out" journalism or any other entity such as the auto industry. With a free enterprise system, they must survive or perish through their on merits or failures. There is nothing too big to fail. As for paying for educating the next generation of journalists, I say hog wash! It is not the job of the government to educate them or fund their education. They need to get a job, a real job and work their way through school like I did.
