From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
This nation was founded on the right of free speech and the right of expression of opinions with which another person may not agree. DO NOT try to control the media, written,on radio or TV. All these new proposals do is try to take dissent away from good citizens and add a new tax burden to the porgrams which a great deal of the US population listens to, watches or hears. Please remember that when the ability of a nation to endure and gladly accept various points of view, that nation becomes a dictatorship. Our federal government, whether elected, appointed, or hired, are only to be the "workhorse" of the citizens, and are not in and of themselves allowed to willy knilly pass laws and/or set up commissions which would take away the right of every citizen to have their oppinion heard. Please rethink these rules and do not destroy all we have worked for.
