JOURNALISM IS IN TROUBLE DUE TO THE POOR QUALITY FOUND ON THE MAJOR NETWORKS.INACCURATE OR BIASED REPORTING IS COMMONPLACE. EVEN THE LATE WALTER CRONKITE STATED THAT MOST NETWORK NEWSCASTERS WERE JUST CHEAP "TABLOID" LEVEL REPORTERS! ANY FORM OF THE SO CALLED FAIRNESS DOCTRINE WOULD BE A BAILOUT FOR THE SUBSTANDARD MEDIA OUTLETS. THERE SHOULD BE"NO"GOVERMENT RUN OR INFLUENCED RADIO OR TV! FREEDOM OF THE PRESS AND THE AIRWAVES GO HAND IN HAND. THE PEOPLE WILL DECIDE WHO AND WHAT THEY WANT TO LISTEN TO OR WATCH;NOT THE GOVERMENT! IF YOU WANT A AREA THAT NEEDS A LOOK..CHECK OUT HOW "OBAMA" HAS CENSORED C-SPAN.DEMOCRATIC TRANSPARENCY IS A NATIONAL JOKE. LET "NPR" DIE. THE ONLY GOOD THING IT AIRED WAS THE PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION.ANYTHING THAT CONTAINED OPINION OR POLITICS WAS POORLY DONE. THERE SHOULD BE "NO" TAXES ON TALK RADIO AND OTHER OUTLETS.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! HOW ABOUT LOOKING AT OBAMA AND HIS AVOIDING PRESS CONFERENCES AND PERTINENT QUESTIONS? AGAIN.. THE SUB STANDARD NETWORKS,ABC,NBC,CBS ARE THEIR OWN WORST ENEMY.IF THEY DON'T CHANGE AND BECOME HONEST AND CLEAN UP THEIR ACT;THEY SHOULD FAIL! NO BAILOUTS!!! REGDS, JR
