From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The news media is supposed to serve the needs of the people. For years the liberal television news, liberal news papers and magazines, have forced their version of the news upon the conservatives. This forced and often false version of the news, eventually cost TV news, newspaper news and magazine news their advertising base, and their audience. Now the liberals would like to tax the successful conservative news media of the internet and radio to subsidize the liberal failures. America, is built on the principal of, servival of the fittest. Abraham Lincoln, once said, "You can't make a weak man strong, by making a strong man weak." The United States Government, seems to spend mosts of it's time, trying to prove Mr. Lincoln wrong, by pandering with political correctness. The United States Congress, has forgotten it's function, congress is not there to insert it's will on the people. The real job of the government to serve, protect and uphold the will of the American people. We are a sovereign nation, of free people, and we don't need our own government trying to shackle us. The roll of the government must diminish, and the roll of the people must expand, if freedom is to be preserved.
