From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Re: Reinvention of Journalism report. I am concerned and opposed to what appears to be actions of taxation and regulation that will violate the first amendment right for citizens and the Press, radio/TV stations etc. ability to facilitate the exchange of information and opinions for the good of the citizens of this country and carried out in a way in which the owners may be able to meet the need of the people and still maintain an economically viable operation. We do not need to have this area of enterprise captured by what appears to be a government attempt to control what these entities provide. Our Founding Fathers provided for this free exchange so that what this report is championing would, explicity, not happen.
