From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
"Reinventing Journalism" is a thinly veiled and utterly unwarranted attempt at silencing all dissenting opinion, i.e., opinion that is counter to the present administration's agenda and policies. Such thuggery is common in totalitarian regimes and is evidently becoming the norm in this country, as well. If liberal/progressive voices are drowned out by conservative talk radio, if liberal/progressive commentary doesn't have the impact of conservative opinion, it's probably because those voices and that commentary are fundamentally flawed and do not resonate with the great mass of the American people. Stifling the conservative media is not the answer and can only lead to the loss of an essential freedom.
