From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
We the people will not stand idly by and let the Federal government hijack our First Amendment rights. Any so called "Fairness Doctrine" is nothing but a backdoor attempt to silence the voice of the American people, who are being spoonfed leftist, liberal propaganda by the elitist mainstream media. The newspapers and television news organizations that are failing financially are doing so because nobody wants to hear or read the drivel that they are producing under the guise of journalism. Let them fail, like any other business that does not produce a quality product, and then maybe they will see that telling the truth will be much better for business than being the mouthpiece of the State. No taxes will I pay to support training new leftist "journalists", no support will I give any government attack on my Freedom of Speech. Sincerely, Jerome M. Watson
