From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Dear FTC: Like the majority of Americans, politically I am a right-of-middle, independent, actively involved voting citizen who dearly loves his country. In my opinion, the majority of Americans are okay with either political party being in charge, as long as they are trying to administer the affairs of government in a manner that serves the common good. Regretfully, the current administration is not on track with serving the common good. The common good is being almost completely ignored and the special interests are reaping virtually the sum total of the current administration's interest and attention. It is well past time for this administration to move a step or two toward the middle and put the brakes on more regulations, more taxes, more spending and more attention to special interests. Please decide in terms of what serves the "common good" as you deliberate about those matters now before you. Respectfully, Robert Estes, Texas
