From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
As a former USAF fighter pilot, former teacher at the college level, former security manager, former corporate executive and libertarian, I say let the media take care of itself within the laws of supply and demand. The government has no business interfering with or attempting to shape the character of journalism. To do so smacks of "big brotherism" and tyrannical control of what should be uncontrolled, pure free speech. Interference in communications leads me to believe Joseph Goebbles is alive and well right here in the USA. If this tyranny comes to pass, I'll arm myself and man the barricades with the rest of the patriots who know what America is all about.
