I totally oppose your bureaucratic plan for the “Reinvention of Journalism” that outlines a series of taxes that would stifle free speech and silence conservatives. I oppose FTC regulation of the Internet. I also oppose any tax levy by the FTC on Internet web-sites, cellular phones, television, radio, or sales of electronic devices, etc. which would be used to pay salaries of journalists, etc. in order to keep archaic businesses afloat such as newspapers that cannot stand on their own two feet. The market makes the decisions and if people are not purchasing papers, then either there is a problems with the the paper(s) themselves in not giving the market what it wants or they are just so biased and will not print the truth (which I personally believe to be the case) so that no one purchases them, then they deserve to go 'down'. No handouts or bail-outs from the government/the people. You have no right to 'steal' from the people of the US in order to prop up these biased, inefficient organizations (friends of the current administration)just because it fits 'their agenda'. This is absolutely unjust! You are to act as a regulatory agency, not as a fund raiser of mandated taxpayer dollars for purposes of a life support system for (your own identified) selected media outlets.
