From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Free speech is the hallmark of a free country. I would posit that this is why the First Amendment to the Constitution protects the freedom to express ones self; even when that expression is unpopular. A free press, free internet and free airwaves ensures one of the basic freedoms every American enjoys and truly distinguishes this great country from much of the rest of the world. I urge the FTC to read the first amendment and do not tamper with the ability of talk show hosts, internet bloggers, etc. to freely express themselves. A free people is what makes this country great.
