From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
We simply MUST NOT interfere with our freedom of speech, regardless of how the present administration may wish to control it. Anything akin to the "Fairness Doctrine", under any guise, will not be tolerated! This applies to all forms of Media/Communication, including, but not limited to Radio, Television, The internet, etc! Any form of restrictions, including limitations and or taxation on what ever, still ends up being a restriction on Freedom of Speech! Yes, some of the existing limitations can be at least partially justified by infrequent indiscretion on the part of some in the communication business, but most generally they are relatively well self controlled. In our head long rush to apease/please an ever increasing less-trusted administration, let us not give away our hard fought for freedom of speech, which largely sets our nation apart from those who wish they had not traded it in for a false hope of better things to come from doing so.
