From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.” POTENTIAL POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS TO SUPPORT THE REINVENTION OF JOURNALISM The above document is wrong. The government needs criticism and it shall not prohibit speech in electronic forms. America does not need a Soviet Style Media Complex. It cannot pick winners and looses. People will go to hand bills and bull horns if necessary. We have the right to assemble and that is in electronic form on the Internet. Radio and TV should be controlled the laws of supply and demand and not government. Newspapers are biased and lost their way. Electronic media is faster and free. Times change and they haven't updated their business model. They need to fail and not be propped up. What part of Freedom and America don't you understand. Read the Federalist papers or other early documents. You're uninformed.
