From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The little people of the America are tired of the government trying to destroy the Constitution of the United States. The elected officals have forgotten their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. One of the rights that are guaranteed by that document is the freedom of speech, ie. newspapers, radio, tv, internet and any other form of journalistic outlet. The officals think that they know best what the people should be hearing & seeing and that they should be allowed control it. They are so wrong. The Constitution did not give them that authority. I want the FCC and everyone in Washington to reject any all efforts to censor, limit, or restrain free speech. This includes through the FCC rule known as the Fairness Doctrine and any other backdoor regulatory powers, such as enforcement of localism, diversity in media owership and service of the local or public interest. All freedom loving Americans will be watching closely and taking action when necessary to directly combat any censorship efforts as well as the liberal bias of the media. Sincerely, Rita Crutchfield
