I absolutely and totally oppose any effort by the Federal Government to restrict free speech, restrict radio and television programming, implement a “Fairness Doctrine”, exercise control over the selection and training of journalists, etc. I oppose efforts to impose a tax on the internet, a tax on political programs on radio or television, or any effort to provide public funding for the salary, training, or regulation of journalists. I oppose the creation of a “Journalism Division”. I oppose additional taxes on consumer electronics. I oppose any additional governmental regulation of religious programming on radio or television.
