From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Journalism in the country is DEAD. We have a "center right" country and the current main stream media is decisively to the LEFT of center by a large margin. They no longer espouse to the TRUTH, only their left leaning version of the truth which is useless to me. If only the likes of NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC produced a "fair and balanced" news product, then they would be serving the good people of this country, instead of being the sounding board of the democratic party. Please understand that I am not talking about the commentators here, I am talking about the fact that the NEWS is no longer balanced. This is not something that has happened over night. I remember it starting under Bush 41, maybe sooner, with the super market barcoding scandle that the media blew out of proportion, claiming that Bush 41 was so out of touch. Less than a handful of stations and newspapers went back to do a retraction of the story or to correct their misreporting of it. Unless the main stream media pulls "BACK TO CENTER" I have no use for it. Let's get back to "FAIR AND BALANCED" news reporting and stop being the propagation tool for the democractic party.
