From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Journalism does not need to be "reinvented." Journalism SHOULD be the reporting of facts. What it should NOT be is the reporting of "government-approved facts," or in other words, propaganda. This idea is ludicrous in the extreme, and I will not rest until it is buried, and buried deeply. The government is trying to turn this proud country into another Nazi Germany, and We The People are not going to sit around on our duffs anymore and let it happen. There are still enough of us around who remember that debacle, and maybe you don't remember, but WE WENT TO WAR TO STOP IT. Now it's being promoted here. Can you not see this? Are you truly so blind? A few years ago, I was almost ashamed to say I was an American, because of the apathy and disinterest of the people at large, but you have pushed us too hard, and too far, and now The People are ready to stand up on their hind legs and defend our country. I am once again proud to be an American, and I will fight this to the end. You would do well to take heed.
