From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
There are thousands of news sources that range in price from free like antiwar.com, to cheap like WallStreetJournal.com. They span every country, culture, topic and point of view. In particular, they balance the one dimensional censored pablum purveyed by the main stream media, that you are intent on propping up. It is not your duty or right to tax or regulate one news source, so you can support the "news" that government wants to hear. We citizens know what's in our interest and have no need for some bureaucracy to tell us what is "in the Public Interest".
