"Reinventing Journalism" I disagree with your proposal to reinvent journalism. What you need to do is go back to investigative reporting. We are so sick of hearing off the wall claims by politicians on this subject or that subject. What we want to know is they true. When is the last time someone was sued for slander? It seems like now you can say anything you want it doesn’t matter what. What we expect our news stations to do is sift through the BS and report the facts. Get to the bottom of the story, all you do is report what some politician said instead of the truth. My family truly believes that if there was a Watergate today it would go uncovered. You either don't know how or don't care enough to report the truth. It amazes me that you think so little of Americans. Its not that we don't care, it’s that we are busy. I do not expect you to know or care how I do my job. It’s enough to know that I do it everyday to the best of my ability. We expect you to do the same. I don't have the time to watch these guys that is your job it’s why you get paid. Do your job. Earn your pay. The reason Americans are tired of the news is because it’s all crap. You just repeat whatever is said. I did a TV survey the other day and I was amazed. I thought every show they mentioned was crap, but that was not an option. There was no space to write a comment. Just yes or no or check the box. Sometimes we watch a show for the pure fact that there is nothing else on. It’s just the best of the worst. It doesn’t mean it’s good; it’s just the only thing on. So watch your ratings it doesn’t mean you’re good, just that there is nothing else on. Because as soon as another show come on that is a little bit better you can watch your ratings drop.
