From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Please do not pursue regulations in the journalism industry. Journalists are not "too big to fail" and if they cannot survive in the internet age, it's appropriate to let them fail. Newspapers and magazines are outdated. Also, this country has enjoyed free speech for generations. It is unnecessary and unconstitutional to start regulating conservative speech simply because it goes against the liberal/progressive agenda. Americans deserve the truth and media outlets like the Drudge Report and Fox News are fair and balanced and do their best to give Americans accurate news. We are a free country and free speech is vital for our country to stay that way. If you start regulating speech, we will be no better than countries like Venezuela or China.
