From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
It is not the role of the government to subsidize newspapers or any other form of communications. We are already overtaxed, and the last thing we need is yet another one. The free market is perfectly capable of making necessary adjustments, and the FTC has no business interfering with the free flow of information. The distribution of news and information is not an area where the FTC has any business, so drop this “Reinvention of Journalism” nonsense.
