From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
How will the print media survive the internet age? What are you proposing - ban the internet? What next? Smash the TV sets too? That is what Taliban did. The media has moved to the internet in the 21st century. Attempting to resurrect an older technology is foolish. What next? Will you conduct a workshop to resurrect stone tablets? And then another for communicating using smoke signals? Things CHANGE. You should not be AFRAID of CHANGE. I recommend you read "Who moved my Cheese?" if you are terrified of CHANGE. I also wish to point out that the print media in USA is extremely racist. The racism is highly prevalent in New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and Christian Science Monitor. They stereotype and use derogatory language against non-Whites. In this sense, they are as culpable as the Democratic Party (Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Robert Byrd, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton have all made racist statements). As such, saving them will be equivalent to supporting racism. Helen Thomas signifies everything that is wrong with the racist media. Proof for the fact that the Democratic Party is racist can also be obtained by looking at the California textbooks which contain inflammatory and racist language against Hindus and Indians. The print media supports the Democratic Party and this is another piece of evidence to prove that they are racist. So you should not resurrect them. They are dying because society does not want them.
