From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Are you guys crazy? What kind of nonsense is this tripe you are peddling now? Have you even read the Constitution about freedom of the press? How is taxing, licensing, funding & regulating supporting freedom? This "discussion" is not about helping journalism survive, it is about helping newspapers survive via the power to tax American citizens and giving governement control of the press. Journalism is surviving just fine, thank you very much. Did not our own president support change as good? Well, the fact that journalism is changing, and other voices are being heard other than the biased MSM is a good thing. The American public are not idiots. We are perfectly able to weed out the truth from lies, which is why the MSM is failing in their attempt to control the discussion. So instead they want governement to force people to swallow their garbage, and tax them on top of that? Heck no! I am tired of Washington's continual attempts to shred the Constituion. Butt out. Journalism is none of your business.
