In the Matter of Kellogg Company, a corporation, FTC File No. 0823145, Proposed Consent Agreement

Based on the study conducted by an Independent research group and given to Kellog's Company, I believe is misleading the consumer and does not provide any attentiveness to any children. Therefore, I belief that test was conducted when those kids in the prior night had a good night sleep and woke up with having breakfast such as the Kellog's Mini-Wheat and their vitamins caused the kids to be more alert. With that in mind if kids were tested by a poor sleep and no vitmanins and only have Kellogs Mini-Wheat in the morning it will not be a 20-25% percent increase as stated in advertisment campaigns. I believe what this cerals do for kids is give them a sugar rush just like coffe does to adults. If you see the sugar indicated in the box for a 3/4 of serving, which most kids it much more than that serving amount. Furthermore, I believe the wheat and sugar associated with the cereal provides the kids with carbs causing it to process in the body and turn into energy, and of course energy turns into more alertness, a faster response to any question and more. That is our opnion as parents and three kids, we purchased this ceral for over three years and all I was doing is stuffing both of my kids with heavy sugar causing my kids to be over weight including us the parents. The company continues to advertise misleading information to consumer please see website www.mini-wheats.com
