I am completely against the whole idea of centralized record keeping of health information. If anything has been proven recently, it is that the infomration is never secure. Wells Fargo could not even keep my financial information secure. I dont need "vendors" holding my medical infomation. The physicians and patients should keep these records and keep the doctor-patient relationship intact. If people knew what was best for them they would not allow a middle-man vendor to have ANY access to their most private health information. It is a door that should not be opened. When my financial information was compromised...I did receive a notice...and that was it...Centralized record-keeping makes it only easier to steal or compromise the information....How exactly would we benefit by receiving a notice...thats like saying, "Sorry, it looks someone has your records. Thank you. Have a nice day!" I am absolutely against any of this!!!
