Prohibitions On Market Manipulation and False Information in Subtitle B of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007

The FTC is doing a very poor job investigating and regulating fuel and energy costs. They are extremely slow to act and have sat back and done nothing, absolutely nothing to prevent fuel and energy cost to run away like a wild animal. Its not fair to throw this on the backs of working americans and expect us to pay what ever petroleum companies can get a way with. There has been nothing to affect fuel companies that would have resulted in the sky rocketing, ratcheting effect that has drained the pockets of working americans. The last thing I heard that would cause fuel costs to rise was hurrican Katrina. Well, they got away with it then and have continued. The fuel companies are laughing at you for every penny they add. Why do all fuel stations go up at the same time when they get their fuel from different locations and even different countries? Makes no sense at all. There is one governing entity (FTC) that is causing this. Fuel speculation is nothing more but scare tactics in which there is no proof of any action to cause prices to rise. Fuel companies should be like Wal-mart and lower prices. So FTC get off your ass and stop sitting there collecting tax payer dollars and not doing your job. Do it today? Impress us all and cause prices to go back to normal (1.25 to 1.40 a gallon).
