Prohibitions On Market Manipulation and False Information in Subtitle B of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007

I, and my community, have deep concerns regarding market manipulation in the oil/gas industry. Daily, our hard earned dollars devalue as we manage to continue to go to our jobs and work to support our simple and frugal lifestyles. This, in the face, of continued gasoline prices being raised pennies a day, every day, week after week, month after month. Now, neighbors are stealing gas from vehicles of their neighbors...people are unable to visit family members...get to work...on and on. When will this stop and become bearable? If it is your responsibility to keep us within reasonable financial bounds then PLEASE start taxing the oil companies and use the money to fund assistance for the citizens of the United States of America. We are headed towards a huge crisis which is not desirable. The working people of this country, truck drivers, business people, middle class people, people unable to use public transportation, all of us need to use gasoline and need to afford food, clothing, medical care, rent/mortgage, utilities, school, repairs, insurances, travel and on and on... Gasoline at anything over $2.00 a gallon is hurting us and people will be angry and riot. All of our hard earned money is going overseas into the corrupt pockets of oil shieks who keep their own citizens downtrodden while they build more and more palaces. What's wrong with this picture?
