Children are a precious resource and we should be protecting and mentoring them, not targeting them for our financial gain. It is time for Tony the Tiger to retire. Generation after generation of ill-informed Americans who get their nutritional information from television advertising have suffered with diminished quality of life and placed a great burden on the health care system of this country. The idea that loss of marketing jobs is being measured against the well-being of our children is quite shocking. It's time to do what is right, so let's be responsible adults and take care of our children.
