In regards to: Preliminary Proposed Nutrition Principles to Guide Industry Self-Regulatory Efforts, Project No. P094513 Parents, children and youth need support in choosing healthy foods and deserve not to have roadblocks placed in their way of attaining nutritious food choices. Greed and commerce drives the large corporations who prey upon children's ignorance of food facts and use favorite cartoon characters, animals and twisted facts to lure children to make unhealthy food choices. They are bombarded with false advertising and cohersion to nutrient lacking junk foods. Our young population faces diabetes, heart disease and obesity at a level we have not seen before in this country and our food choices play a large factor in the outcome. Fast food corporations are not to excused in this either. These children will be the mothers and fathers of the next generation and you are only as healthy as you eat. What will these corporations tell the young mother who delivers a underweight baby with a host of health issues that could have been prevented if his mother had the proper dietary nutrition when she was growing up Eating "Happy Meals" is not the road to a "Happy and Healthy" body. Please adopt Project No. P094513
