Phusion Projects has abided by all of the FTC's requirements - they take a particular interest in making sure consumers recieve all the information they need to make informed decisions. They have labeled their cans in bold letters, and all of thier Point of Sale signage is clearly labeled as well. At their expense they reformulated the product and removed all the caffine additives. It seems to me that they have performed as a very responsible company. If there is a resealable can available, it would be very benifical to consumers, ie, easy to use design, spill-proof, retains carbonation, and gives the consumers more flexability in the way the choose to enjoy the product. There are no unique dangers posed by Four Loko or any other flavored malt liquor. Underage drinking and alcohol abuse are serious problems in need of serious solutions, but singling out specific products will not solve these issues. Our answer lies in increased education, stronger enforcement of existing laws, personal responsibility, and parents taking an active role in what their children are doing. Four Loko does not harm people, irresponsile people do.
