Proposed Consent Agreement In the Matter of Phusion Projects, LLC, Jaisen Freeman, Christopher Hunter, and Jeffrey Wright, FTC File No. 112 3084

August 1, 2010 a 20 year old college student drank what he said were only two drinks. The Four Loko cans were found in his car. He's been in jail since then because under that influence he sped through a red light hitting a car and killing instantly the four occupants: a father and his three young adult sons. Two Four Loko and the bad decisions involved in choosing those drinks destroyed more than four lives. I cringe every time I see local billboards near the University of South Carolina campus promoting Four Loko without noting the alcoholic content. The manufacturer's intent to turn a profit at the expense of the health -- and lives -- of the innocent is obscene.
