I think the 'Do Not Track' idea is excellent and I encourage its implementation. The only thing better would be to require people to have to ask to be tracked in the first place. Tracking people on the internet (or anywhere for that matter, criminals excepted) without their permission is an unacceptable invasion of privacy.
