On 2/27/12 I traded in a 2010 Dodge Charger for a 2012 Dodge Charger at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall 315 Route 23 Sussex, New Jersey 07461.During the discussions with the sales person, I had specifically asked what I would get for my trade in and was told it was being paid off. When I went to pick the car up and go through the financing process (with my $6,000.00 down)I was astounded when the finance officer informed me that the total loan was $5,000.00 more than I had expected. When I asked to see how he came to that amount,he started going through the numbers and I quickly saw under trade in amount $18,650.00. I sat at the sales persons desk when she called my loan Co. for a pay-off figure of $23,708.00. That is when I asked, and was told they were going to pay it off.I mentioned that to the finance officer and he simply stated " I only take care of financing ".Needless to say I was very upset. My monthly payment was higher than I had anticipated and my $6,000.00 down payment seemed to disappear. I felt I had no recourse at that point.I made it a point to say I would never buy another car from this dealer again. This was the 4th vehicle from this dealer for me and my husband has bought 3. I feel we were good customers for them in the past, but now I just feel I was cheated! This has no reflection on Dodge, because I love my car. It was unfortunate that I had to go through this bad experience! Thank you Linda Hoye
