Federal Trade Commission 600 Pennsylvania Ave Washington, DC 205080 Aug 26,2011 Re: Garment Care Label Evaluation Dear F.T.C We used to be a Perc solvent dry cleaner for the past eleven years. Now we converted to a green cleaners which is recommended by the City and State of California. Our cleaner is now call the alternative Professional Wet Cleaner. We use water as basis to clean all the garments that say, “Dry Clean Only”. Our community are keep changing everyday of our life. Most of my customers support my cleaner to be green and environmentally friendly. Everyone wants a healthier life, live longer, and have more happiness with their family. So everyone is starting to stay away from all those Toxic solvent cleaners. The reason is that they are concerned about their children and the health of the family. The economy is very slow this days. It is very expense to see the doctor if you get sick. In order to make it less confusing to the garment label, I hope the FTC can add “Professional Wet Clean Only” to the care label of the garments. Thank you so very much for your help in adding this “ Professional Wet Clean Only” label on the garments. That will make my dream come true. Sincerely, Benson Xu Vermont Cleaners
