Please do not undermine the health and safety of millions of Americans by allowing 23 oz. size cans of Four Loko or other sweetened alcoholic beverages to be sold. These containers are more than the recommended intake for me and women. They are particularly attractive to young people, many under the legal drinking age and many more who drink to excessive amounts. There is no scientific evidence that warning labels or resealable caps will reduce the total consumption of the can at one time. excessive drinking leads t addiction and the major health problems the country is facing as well as death. It harms non drinkers through injury, mental and emotional pain, and increased collateral costs we all have to pay. Please put the health and safety of drinkers and non drinkers alike above the interests of business.
