Those of us who value what organic means find it very misleading that personal care products and toiletries can use it and have it mean nothing. I want to know when I buy something that says organic that it is chemical free and that it is less likely to be harmful to my health. I'm willing to pay more for this and frankly find it offensive that companies would put it on a product so that it's more appealing and they can charge more for it and yet not actually change anything. In order for free trade to mean anything, manufacturers need to truthfully label their products so that we know what we're getting without misleading labels. They can keep putting potentially harmful chemicals in their products but I want to be able to tell from the label so I don't buy it. Then they can choose whether they want my business and whether they want to improve their product to get it. Thank you.
