Labels need to have the word 'professional' before 'wet cleaning'. If not, customers will think that 'wet clean' means wash at home and most likely, the garment will be ruined. Labels need to specify that a professional wet cleaner is required to clean the garment because washing at home will not be sufficient and may damage the garment. Alternative solvents to hydrocarbon and perc should be included on care label instructions. As a GreenEarth cleaner, I know that GreenEarth is much gentler than those two solvents. I think that solvents should be grouped based on having similar KB values. I've noticed that sequins and beads are not included under reasonable basis. I feel that they should be because some solvents are too aggressive to clean them safely.
