First of all if we would of known this site was available we would of came to you sooner. We purchased a used 2002 Chysler Town and Country van, within a few months after it was purchased the transmission went out on the van. Several phone call was made to the dealership, Chysler and loan company to seek help to pay for the replacement of the vans transmission. We asked if this van had a "WARRANTY" because it was under 100,000 miles. Several phones calls back and forth were made, we were told NO WARRANTY WAS ON THIS VAN. My husband a disabled veteran made several phone calls to get help to get the van fixed because we didn't have the funding. Fianlly we got the funding to get the van fixed. Around the same time the van broke down the first time the tramission went out again. After research we found this was not a uncommon thing for these vans. We made phone calls again to all those people and no one could help. Just a month a ago in the mail we got a letter from Chylser saying WOULD WE LIKE TO EXTEND OUR WARRNTY ON OUR VAN THAT COVERED THE TRANMISSION. We no longer have the van, because I lost my job and our income dropped. My husband at this time ended up having several surgeries and a bypass done. We are OUT OF A VAN BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD WORK WITH US FOR A FEW MONTHS, to keep the van and some how get help to get it fixed because my husband was to get soc sec disability. We could of made lower payments. A Senators office has turned this van into the National Highway Safety Board. Chysler has denied any request we have made and turned their backs on us. We are out of van and live in a area that has no public transportaion. We have to make arrangements to get my husband to the VA for appointments. I can not get a job while we don't have a vehicle. We are on the losing end of this and we were lied to. We need a car, van some thing to get around and we think that we were not lied to at first that there would of been a differnt out come. We want chysler to take the respondsiblity for there actions and we want a vehicle at their cost. There is more to this story, but we were treated unfair. We bailed Chylser out when they needed it they should bail us out. We feel we were treated unfair. Everyone lied to us and that is the way they treat a veteran that was over in Iran and got hurt serving our Country. As matter of fact we were told by a Senators office that Chylser will not return their phone calls.
