This problem with in app purchases is not limited to Apple devices. Android devices are at least as bad if not worse than Apple. According to Consumer Reports, on Google Play, the window of unsupervised in-app purchasing is as long as 30 minutes with no dollar limit and no on-screen parental warning. As Consumer Reports' headline put it "Google Play Store lets your kid spend like a drunken sailor." What is FTC planning to do about investigating Google and similar companies with the same vigor and putting an end to this practice altogether?
