The Kroger corporation is a regular and openly arrogant violator of this law. This has been true for at least,from my personal experience, ten years and probably more. They will issue rain checks good for only 14 days for advertised product that is either not shipped from the warehouses for the sale OR during the time that a rain check is honored, or they advertise product that is not ever available at all. When it the latter, they will tell you they hand it to you that it is not an item that they stock and are not even apologetic about it. This is done with multiple products in virtually every single weekly ad they produce
