Proposed Consent Agreement In the Matter of Phusion Projects, LLC, Jaisen Freeman, Christopher Hunter, and Jeffrey Wright, FTC File No. 112 3084

Commissioners: I write to request an extension for filing comments on this matter. 30 days is insufficient time for all concerned parties to adequately have their viewpoints be heard. Numerous groups, including public health organizations, state regulators, attorneys general, and industry members, along with concerned individuals, all have been working on this issue for years and have a stake in the outcome of this matter. I had to rush to get the few others I could to sign on to my own letter of opposition. I am certain that with more time, many others would want to be heard. Many organizations have complex approval processes and need more time to get their comments in. I also know a number of industry members who have strong objections. One of them even agreed to sign on to my letter. Given the complexities of the issues raised for industry, more time is needed for sensitive discussions and drafting comments. Finally, state regulators, legislators, and attorneys general especially need ample time to be heard as state level policy could be significantly impacted by this consent order. An additional 30 or 60 days would be most appreciated. Given this matter's complexity and far-reaching impacts, such an extension seems warranted and reasonable. Thank you for considering this request. Sincerely, Michele Simon, JD, MPH President, Eat Drink Politics
