We are a 100% wet clean plant and we do not have any Dry Clean machine or chemical in our plant. We send out few items such as leather and drapes for outside process. A "professional wet cleaning" is a must for our operations because we do wet clean almost 99% of all items we receive. We wet clean about 800-900 items per day. In this 99% items that we process almost 50% have “Dry Clean only" label. This exposes our process for any grievance customer might have even for stain removal. We had a customer that asked for Dry clean only and label on the clothes indicated that can be “Machine washed but for best result Dry clean” Since we cleaned them by wet clean process we had to compensate the clothes because we did not use Dry Clean process as he asked for. We are trying to educate our customers about wet clean process and we had customer come from other cleaners that asked that their clothes be wet cleaned. This educations of our customers would be much easier if we had this label that indicated “Professional wet clean” as part of label options. This gives us a tool to use this option and explain it to our customer that we use this process and it is different that washing at home by a regular washing machine.
