My daughter has been 'victimized' further by traditional dry cleaning process in attempt to salvage a very expensive wardrobe exposed to airborne mold! Some garments were cleaned by 'oxidation' process (Madame Paulette in NYC who is apparently the 'only game in town') at outrageous expense and still not 'clean'! Others were sent to yet another 'cleaner' and the outcome was disastrous!! Within 2 hours of donning a cashmere lounge set, she was covered with a bright red, ugly burning, itchy rash!! The area exposed didn't even touch the garment! Those were much worse - actual bumps; another photo attached after taking cool shower!! BENADRYL!! So much for 'dry' cleaning and oxidation cleaning. The only process that has salvaged ANY garments is traditional washing and now will require thousands of dollars in re-cleaning via wet cleaning process to salvage the remainder! The chemicals in dry cleaning of any type only exacerbate any other potential issue in a fabric! This can actually produce horrible reactions in people!!! If these people had a conscience, they would return every dime of the over 12K that was spent with them!! Of course, that isn't going to happen!!
