It is unfortunate that the EPA continues to try to sell E15 fuels to the American public when studies have proven that this blend of fuels will lead to catastrophic failures in the vast majority of engines that may wind up being fueled by it. I am concerned with its use in my motorcycles, lawn mowers, chain saws, leaf blowers, generator, snow blower, etc. The proposed solution of slapping another sticker on a fuel distribution unit will not affect the same public which continues to believe that all the electronic gizmos in their cars are making them better drivers; or that texting while driving is not a serious distraction with frequently disastrous consequences. Let the USDA figure out how to sell the products in their purview. Utilizing the EPA to do the bidding of Big Agriculture under the guise of improving air quality smacks of underhanded collusion and possible backhanded favoritism. Brazil's large cities still suffer from high levels of pollution; the components of that pollution are different and particular to the drawbacks of high levels of mandated ethanol fuel usage. Please reject the use of ethanol fuels unless the science proves an overwhelming clean-air advantage to properly handled hydrocarbon fuels.
